First aid exercises are a new product in the training market. We are pleased to offer well-thought-out and individually tailored exercise scenarios according to the client’s needs and risk analysis.

Participation in the exercises is open to individuals who have completed first aid training and are proficient in administering first aid.

The aim of the exercise is to apply previously learned skills in a lifelike situation. Prior to the exercise, ground rules are established, and impactful practical learning takes place outdoors. After the exercise, the events are summarized, and the occurrences are analyzed.

Trainings are available in Estonian, Russian, and English languages.

The ‘victims’ are portrayed by individuals who belong to the simulation group and have extensive experience participating in exercises.

Example scenarios

Massive blood loss

Two people were injured by the sharp end of a metal plate. One victim has a deep open wound on the inner thigh, experiencing catastrophic (gushing) bleeding, appearing pale, complaining of severe weakness, and showing signs of fainting. Blood loss is approximately 1 liter.
The assessment will focus on the speed and adequacy of intervention, communication of information to the Emergency Response Center, adherence to self-safety rules, techniques for stopping bleeding, selection of tools, collaboration among first aid providers, and comprehensive feedback from the instructor on the group’s performance.
Sudden illnesses – myocardial infarction

An office worker at the institution experienced a myocardial infarction at the workplace. The simulated condition is dynamic, meaning the patient’s condition improves or worsens based on the first aid provided. Assessment will focus on the prompt and adequate first aid provided to the victim, collaboration among responders, and communication of information to the Emergency Response Center.
Seizure
In the production building (on the stairs), a person with epilepsy had a seizure. The victim fell to the floor and experienced convulsions for approximately 1 minute. Blood-stained foam is coming from the mouth (special capsules are available). The victim sustained a head injury due to the fall, resulting in a 3 cm open bleeding wound on the scalp.
Assessment will focus on the correct response to the seizure syndrome, situational assessment, communication of information, and first aid for the wound.
CPR + using AED
In the café (in the kitchen), an adult choked on a piece of food, causing complete obstruction of the airway. The victim is not breathing, has turned blue in the face, and is slouched over the table.
Assessment will focus on the correct first aid for choking (Heimlich maneuver). Subsequently, the learner will assess the victim’s condition and make a decision regarding resuscitation. Evaluation will include the proper technique for resuscitation, knowledge of current algorithms, and the effectiveness of resuscitation efforts. Additionally, assessment will cover calling for help, communication with the emergency center, collaboration between two rescuers. If an AED is available, proficiency in its use will also be evaluated.
A fall resulting in a head injury.
Two victims. In the SPA area/on the stairs, two elderly ladies slipped on the slippery surface. Victim 1 has an open tibial fracture with massive bleeding. She complains of pain, weakness, and nausea. Her face is extremely pale. Victim 2 has sustained a head injury. There is a 3-4 cm open wound on the scalp, which is bleeding. The patient has no memory of the incident, complains of nausea and severe headache, and is beginning to vomit.
In this scenario, assessment will focus on the first aid providers’ ability to analyze the situation, techniques for stopping bleeding, knowledge of self-safety rules. Rapid administration of first aid, communication with the emergency center, cooperation, and proper positioning of the victims will be observed. If necessary, the instructor will provide guidance on the systemic treatment of trauma.
Stroke + Burns
wo victims. One victim was in the sauna and suffered a stroke while leaning against the hot sauna stove, causing burns on one side. The other person, attempting to assist the victim, injured their right ankle joint, limping and complaining of severe pain. The simulated condition is dynamic, meaning the patient’s condition improves or worsens based on the first aid provided. Assessment will focus on the prompt and adequate first aid provided to both victims, collaboration among responders, and communication of information to the Emergency Response Center.
